2018 is ‘The Summer of Laughter’
Despite the hot weather, we guarantee, this summer will be the happiest time of year. The Laughter Factory will be making people laugh so hard, that their bling will come flying off!
Introducing several new pop up venues, including a return to Zinc, Dubai’s true home to stand up comedy. From Russell Peters to Michael McIntryre, dozens of househould names in comedy, have all played Zinc at least once.
However we are not dwelling in the past and are bringing fresh to the region‘ 8 Out of 10 Cats’ favorite Desiree Burch. She is about to make her debut in the Middle East and headline the June tour.
After winning the 2015 funny woman awards there has been no stopping this New York powerhouse from conquering the UK comedy scene.
Giving her a good run for her money, Joe Bor was frequently asked by Graham Norton to warm up his audiences, Norton knew that he could rely on Bor to have them in a perfect, happy place before they started filming Britain’s most popular TV show. Joe also has regular slots on Mock the Week.
Last, but by no means least winner of ‘English Comedian of the Year’ Nick Page, has a guaranteed gag rate that the human throat can barely keep up with.
This month’s line up is going to be more fun than a 6 year olds birthday party with a case of Redbull and a box of Snickers.

Nick Page
With storytelling comics there’s a moment where the audience asks themselves ‘I wonder if that’s true?’. With Nick there is more doubt, because the stories are so outlandish, and yet at the same time there’s the sure knowledge that every story is true, and that his is a life lived laughing from disaster to disaster.
He’s definitely one of those people you shouldn’t like but do. He has an enviable gag rate, with each story and routine filled with set ups, call backs and devastating punchlines. His stories are unique, yet relate to everyone. Everyone has felt frustrated by the legal system, nobody else has tried to go to prison to prove a point. Everyone watches daytime TV, nobody else has been sacked from it for an incident involving a Russian call girl and an antique rocking horse.
Nick’s comedy has taken him all over the world, with performances in (wait for it) France, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey, Crete, China, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Spain, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Bali, Indonesia, Malaysia and Russia.
Nick placed second at ‘The English Comedian of the Year’ 2016. His debut Edinburgh Festival show had sell-out performances, critical acclaim and a host of 4 star reviews. He is in enormous demand in comedy clubs throughout the UK, as a headline act and MC, and has been for the last 12 years.
