Did you know that laughing will create natural painkillers and actually ease physical discomfort. To make sure we all get more than our  usual dose of happy hormones, the Selfdrive Laughter Factory is flying in three of the best live stand-up comedians that are currently touring the world.

American, Egyptian, Maria Shehata will be making her debut performance in Dubai this March. Boasting shows on Comedy Central and enough awards to fill a small flat in Karama. Maria is a dynamic performer and has written for ‘Modern Love’ and ‘The New York Times’. She is quite comfortable performing in a 15,000 seater venue so it will be lovely to see her up close and personal in an intimate room.

Also appearing for the first time in Dubai, we have Dimitri Bakinov. His humor is darker than a trip down an abandoned coal mine, with a broken torch. This Eastern-Block non-stop punchline machine has some very unusual subject matter that is bound to raise a few eyebrows.

Finally, Abz Ali has to be the funniest Emirati you will ever come across. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to gaze through the hilarious, window into life growing up in a Dubai ‘Local’ family. Abz is “yes, you’ve guessed it”, another arena act, so don’t miss this chance to see him in a premium comedy club.

So come join the fun, it’s time to enhance your intake of oxygen. Treat your heart, lungs and muscles to the most enjoyable workout they will ever have. Stimulate your circulation and just watch the physical symptoms of stress melt away. Non-of it makes sense. It’s not meant to. It just works.
