The Laughter Factory launches in Jumeriah Islands Club and Jebel Ali Club Dubai!

It seems that The Laughter Factory is completely obsessed with making more of you happy. Not one, but two sexy new venues will be added this May in Jumeriah Islands club  and Jebel Ali Dubai.  Anyone who has been in Dubai for than a few years is bound to have a few stories about Jebel Ali club, Dubai.

Organiser Gail Clough says’We are so excited about our new venues, they both have a strong sense of community, which is what the Laughter Factory is all about’.

Specially for this tour and Atlanta Georgia is home to some of the best stand up in the world. Which is a great reason for the Laughter Factory to pluck Louis Ramey from his hometown to come and headline, what guarantees to be, a sensational night of live stand up comedy

There is a report that children laugh a whopping 300 to 400 hundred times a day compared to adults 20, so here at the Laughter Factory we are determined to change those odds drastically. Our May line-up will no doubt get your number of chuckles back at the top of the league, in the game we call ’Life’!

With a list of US TV credits that’s is almost as long as Donald Trump’s list of ex lovers.  Louis Ramey loves what he does for a living, performing stand-up comedy over the past 20 years. Louis can be seen on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ABC Daytime’s The View and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly. Louis Ramey is a strong headliner who is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Following in his tracks, Adam Rowe is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young comics to emerge from the UK scene in recent years. Despite still being in his twenties, Adam is already one of the most sought after acts in the country and is fast becoming a huge favourite at all of The UK’s biggest comedy clubs and festivals.

Last but by no means least we are staying with the theme of strong women.

Jojo Sutherland has been described as ‘deliciously cruel’. And is one of the few women to entertain the troops on the military bases.

We do love an evil woman at The Laughter Factory and this May we won’t disappoint

Meet the comics

“The first act to take to the stage is a huge presence, not just physically. Louis Ramey’s comic talent has plucked him from his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, and taken him all around the world, earning him a wealth of experience which he uses to superb effect tonight. His incredible poise and smooth delivery have the entirety of the audience captivated, while his range of edifying facial expressions and impeccable sound effects embellish his flawless material.

Ramey exhibits the admirable ability to conjure comedy from awkwardness, continually turning his attention to a front row father’s daughters and referencing his preference of a taser to a red rose. At times, the audience is scarcely allowed to catch their breath, as his lewd lampooning brings the house down.”

Adam Rowe

Adam Rowe is widely regarded as one of the most exciting young comics to emerge in recent years. Despite still being in his twenties, Adam is already one of the most sought after acts & comperes in the country and is fast becoming a huge favorite at all of The UK’s biggest comedy clubs and festivals.
His natural, laid back persona combined with his brutally honest, opinionated stand-up and his phenomenal ad-libbing ability make each of his performances unique and gloriously unpredictable, but more importantly; always hilarious.

Adam’s 2017 solo show ‘Unbearable’ was a smash hit at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival selling out it’s entire month long run, leading to his debut UK tour which was, again, a total sell out. He’ll be back at The Edinburgh Fringe with his follow up show ‘Undeniable’ this year, before heading out on tour again in the Autumn/Winter months.

Appearing at:

The Comedy Store, Hot Water Comedy Club, The Glee Clubs, Top Secret Comedy Club, The Boat Show , The Frog & Bucket, The Stand Comedy Clubs, Just The Tonic, The Comedy Loft, Komedia, Ten Feet Tall, Manford’s, Funhouse, Punch Drunk, The Comedy Café and many more.

Jojo Sutherland

This charismatic comic performs in comedy clubs worldwide where she is in as much demand for her compere abilities as she is for her comedy routine. Her natural stage presence alongside her “healthy neglect” attitude to life proves extremely popular amongst many and varied audiences including the armed forces where she remains as one of the few women to go to military bases to entertain the troops. She is regularly requested to support other comics on tour the likes of which have included US Comic Louis Ramey, Tom Stade and Derek star Kerry Godliman. She is also a popular Studio TV Warm up artist.

She is a contributor to several publications including online magazine Standard Issue and has her own regular column in MADE magazine called Trust Jojo! Whilst also undertaking  a variety of other work including radio presenting, voiceovers, theatre performance and film.

2015 saw Jojo star in an online sitcom alongside Daniel Sloss and Tom Stade called M.U.F.F PRODUCTIONS available to view at www.muffproductions.com  ( NOT FOR THE EASILY OFFENDED)

She has performed at The Edinburgh Festival since 2000 with her own theatre company One Handed Women which has written and produced several shows including “Wife Idol – The Rivals” which was based on Jojo’s own experience of the award winning channel 4 programme Wife Swap.

In 2006 Jojo performed her first full length stand up show “Funny Money” to great acclaim and in 2009 her second stand up show “Jojo Sutherland stands up for herself” at the famous Stand Comedy Club and the following year as part of a record number of females performing a solo show with Jojo Sutherland goes for the jocular.

2013 was Jojo’s directorial debut at the Edinburgh festival with a comedy show called “ When I Grow up” with Juliette Burton which had a hugely successful run at The Gilded balloon with a follow up tour of Australia. She also directed Juliette’s follow up show  “Look at Me!” at the Edinburgh festival 2014 as well as performing her own stand up show JOJO SUTHERLAND – IN CONVERSATION whilst also being part of the cast of A split decision –a comedic play staged at The Assembly rooms regarding the Scottish referendum.
