Mandy Knight

Presenter, Performer, Voiceover

Mandy was trained at “Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art”. Although a fully trained classical actress she decided to initially work in stand up comedy (mainly because she has a deep fear of ending up in fringe theatre where actors spend a lot of their time in rehearsals running around, exploring their inner child with the use of a silk scarf and a tambourine)

As a stand up she has headlined all over the world as well as appearing on numerous television and radio entertainment shows including: “Live at Jongleurs” and “The Comedy Store” and “The Little Big Woman Radio Show”.
Mandy is the current ‘Time Out’ Best Female Comic As a television actress, Mandy appeared as a main character in Jo Brand¹s “Like it or Lump it” series. She has also appeared with David Baddiel in his last series “The
Baddiel Syndrome”.
Her other television credits include presenting various shows including “Live Time” (A sort of Richard and Judy type show where she held fascinating interviews with people about things like “National Cheese Week”) She has used her talents as both a stand up and fine character actress to perform four one- woman shows in Edinburgh and Sydney.
They include:
“I Might Be Single – but The Voices Keep Me Company”
“Some of My Best Friends are Ginger”
“I¹m In Love with the Singer from Pulp “
