Meet the Comics
Roman Harris
Born in London, England, Roman Harris has been on the comedy circuit in the UK for the past 5 years and has been making waves, enjoying a very positive start to his comedy journey. He was a winner of the Comedy Virgins competition, a popular event for new comedians in London and went on to feature as a regular character on the popular TV show ’Supermarket Sweep’ for two seasons.
Roman has graced the stage at a number of popular London Comedy Clubs, such as Backyard Comedy Club, Banana Cabaret, Top Secret and Up The Creek, winning their blackout competition on his first appearance, a night where the audience can vote comedians off if they don’t find them funny.
Roman’s comedic style is a mix of observational and anecdotal with a bit of edge, all underlined by his charm and stage presence. He’s seems a nice guy but underneath it all you can see a bit of devilment that creeps to the surface in his humour.
Dimitri Bakanov
Dimitri has fast proved an audience favourite with his honest, sharp and sometimes dark humour. He quickly established himself as one to watch. He was selected to be part of the prestigious AAA Late Show at the Edinburg Fringe Festival, and has gigged all over the world, places as far afield as Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Moscow, Copenhagen, Olso and Dublin
Ash Rose
As the UAE’s only Stand-up Magician, Ash Rose has led the path in the genre. His timing, crowd work, lightning fast wit, charm, outrageously good looks and modesty all define him as a leader in his field. Entering into his 14th year in the Middle East, Ash leaves audiences in stitches of laughter, astonishment and occasionally bewilderment.
