Back by popular demand Dana Alexander was one of the funniest acts to ever appear on Russell Howard’s ‘Good News’. Dana has a sharp take on modern politics that is not only informative but side-splittingly funny.
We are also thrilled to welcome back Jimmy McGhie. He has just completed sellout tours in New Zealand and Australia. His fresh, original, superbly written show is nothing short of genius.
If loose Women was more outrageous, Bronwyn Byrnes would be a regular guest. This outspoken, expat woman will take us on a hilarious journey of life in Dubai, over the last 20 years.
Finally, star of Netflix comedy special, Comicstaan, Miqdaad Dohadwala is gloriously silly. His unique dive into life in Dubai for an Indian resident has audiences gasping for breath in between the laughs.

Meet the comics
Dana Alexander
Dana Alexander began her career at the age of 18 years old in Canada, before long she began touring nationally with Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Clubs and completed 5 television galas and a handful of radio spots for CBC and Sirius XM. In 2011Dana made a move to the UK where she premiered her one woman show at The Edinburgh Fringe Fest. After rave reviews and several nominations including “Best Comic” and “Best International Act” from Chortle and Black Comedy Awards.
It was not long before she began working in television on BBC programs like Russell Howard’s Good News and Edinburgh Comedy Fest in 2012 and featured on The Culture Show in 2013 for BBC 2.
Dana continues to tour within in the UK and Internationally in more than 40 countries including Switzerland, Croatia, France, Norway, Serbia, Bahrain, Seychelles, Hungary, Malta, South Africa and Holland. As well as for the British Troops. A must see Comic.
Refreshing and Fearless. Her comedic style has been described as ‘smart, irreverent and revolutionary’. Currently one of Britain and Canada’s hottest emerging young comedians,Dana quickly became a regular fixture on the Canadian Comedy circuit, resulting recently in her own half hour comedy special on the country’s number one Stand-up show Comedy Now and Top 10 Comedians 3 years running by NOW MAGAZINE. Dana draws her material from raw life experience with an original and hilarious outlook.

Jimmy Mcghie
Jimmy has just returned from his fifth tour of Australia and New Zealand. He performed in ‘Best of the Edinburgh Fest’ to sold out crowds at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He appeared on the ABC Stand-up show ‘Brexit at Tiffanys’.Moving onto to New Zealand where he toured with the ‘International Comedy Allstars Show’ as well as a run of his 8th solo show ‘Apologia’ in Auckland as part of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. Jimmy also appeared in the highest rated show on New Zealand Television, ‘7Days’, as well as ‘The Café’. Jimmy will be performing all over the UK this summer until he takes his 10th solo show ‘Jimmy McGhie’s Tribal Gathering’ to the Edinburgh Festival in August.

Bronwyn is a freelance Australian presenter and performer based in Dubai. Bronwyn has nearly 24 fantastic years of life experience in the region.
Bronwyn is an accomplished MC and uses her humour and professional manner to represent her clients’ brand to the highest level. Her clients include Emirates Airline, ENOC, Arabian Automobiles, Unilever and GEC Media Group.
Bronwyn is a Business/Corporate Role Player and facilitator in Improvisation training and team building. She presents and acts in Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence and Sales Skills programs. Part of the sales skills program includes a Mystery Shopper service for retail clients. Her clients include Van Cleef and Arpels, HSBC, SCB, PWC, DLA Piper, Ashridge Consultants and Clyde and Co. Bronwyn has clients in the UAE, Oman and India.
Bronwyn pursues her love of comedy and drama through Standup Comedy, Improvisation and serious performances. She has performed at the Madinat Theatre, The Junction , The Courtyard Playhouse and DUCTAC.
Bronwyn is experienced in commercial acting work. Clients include RAK Tourism Authority, Atlantis Aquaventure, MBC and various corporate training films.
